Legend Owners smash the £20k target 8 months ahead of the deadline.

At the 2024 Annual LOA Rendezvous in Cowes, it was announced that members of the LOA had raised over £18,000 for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust (EMCT) since it was adopted as the LOA chosen charity in 2006. That is not to say that EMCT is the only beneficiary of charity fund raising, other charities have also benefitted from LOA member and supporter generosity as well. However, members at that Cowes RV pledged to make it £20,000 before the end of our 30th Anniversary year in 2025.

As a result of opening the Legend Spare Parts stock for donations at the 2025 AGM, as well as other donations made by members, the £20k target was smashed on 12th April. But that won't stop us carrying on! There is more to do and more time left in the year yet.
